EduML: An explorative approach for students and lecturers in machine learning courses
EduML is an interactive tool for lecturers to teach and for students or professionals to study and explore the fundamentals of machine learning. Users can experiment with data preparation, dimensionality reduction and a wide range of classifiers on different data sets.
Understand machine learning by interactively experimenting with classifiers, data sets and preprocessing steps.
The data sets can be visually investigated to understand the complexity of the problem. Classifiers can be autonomously fitted to the training data. The effect of model hyperparameters can be explored interactively. Additionally, R source code (based on the caret package) and Python source code (based on scikit-learn) of configured ML pipelines can be extracted.
EduML can be used within a lecture as an interactive demo or by students in lab sessions.
